Hi there! I’m Sara, a nutritionist, author & foodie who is dedicated to helping people use nutrition and natural lifestyle changes to live their very best life.
 
I am so passionate about nutritional approaches to health - because I have been on the other side. 
 
My journey started out as a picky eating kid who didn’t like veggies very much, and ate way too much sugar.  I paid the price with a long list of chronic symptoms - mood swings, insatiable hunger, digestion issues, allergies, and weight gain.
 
I spent year after year trying to find the answers to my health issues at the doctor’s office.  It wasn’t until years later that I realized that the answer was staring me in the face the whole time – I found it right at the end of my fork! 
 
I view my health issues kind of like a giant puzzle – initially the pieces may look like a mess, and don’t come together in a day – but with curiosity and persistence, something beautiful emerged.  Today, I am able to help people dealing with chronic health issues find the answers right at the end of their forks too. 
 
I love to work with women of all ages to help them break free from calorie counting and “dieting”, and instead reset the metabolism – the real secret to reaching our ideal weight and achieving vibrant health.  I help people move past sugar addiction and learn to eat intuitively to best fuel their body, mind and soul.
 
I believe that when we choose health first – the rest will follow (weight, mood, energy, sleep, etc.).

I think a lot of people believe that healthy food does not taste good - it has that reputation for being like cardboard. That is one of my favorite nutrition myths to bust!  I am a foodie - I love food!!  

 

I don't do "bland, and I don't expect anyone else to either.  I love to tinker in the kitchen - creating recipes that are both delicious and nutritious. I firmly believe that we do not have to sacrifice taste to make healthy choices.  All of my programs and books include recipes that are both delicious and nutritious.
